Mutima Echo Tourism Bee Site offers an authentic and culturally immersive experience in beekeeping, honey production, and local traditions.
We developed and promote the concept that is helping local people earn at least $10,000 annually on a one-acre land from keeping bees. Our mission is to not only promote beekeeping but also making beekeeping profitable. The goal is to help 100 farmers annually generate $10,000 annually.

Easy to understand working strategy of making beekeeping profitable
MR. Tadeo Balisanga’s passion for community development was fueled when he joined university of Makarere to study bachelor’s degree in political science and economics. He learnt and mastered the art of mobilizing and organizing communities for the common good.
Upon completing his bachelors degree in political science and economics in 1980, he started mobilizing Rwenzori Region against the dictatorship of president Milton Obote. Since then he has worked with communities in different projects that are aimed at alleviating poverty.
He worked with Uganda society for disabled children for 14 years and district development officer of Kabarole district for 13 years. He has amassed a great wealth in community mobilization and transformation.
He established Mutima echo-tourism site to work with communities in promoting Echo Tourism in value addition of dairy farming and bee keeping. With the team of other consultants, he has developed a working strategy that enables local farmers make $10,000 annually on a one acre of land.
Mutima echo-tourism site is aimed at transforming atleast 100 local farmers into earning $10,000 per year for the next 5 years. This will make 500 local farmers that will be earning $10,000 annually at the end of 2029.
Our beekeeping is deeply rooted in local cultures and traditions. At Mutima ecotourism site, we serve as a bridge for cultural exchange, allowing visitors to learn about traditional beekeeping methods with the blend of modernity, folklore, and the significance of bees in our local customs.
We all know bees play a crucial role in maintaining biodiversity by pollinating plants and they contribute atleast 80% of the pollution. At Mutima ecotourism site, we raise awareness about the importance of preserving natural habitats and ecosystems to support a diverse range of plant and animal species.
Mutima ecotourism site provides a platform for educating visitors about the importance of bees in pollination, biodiversity, and food production. Visitors learn about the role of bees in ecosystems and the challenges they face, contributing to environmental awareness.
